Chobe National Park at Sunset, African Spokes Series

Chobe National Park at Sunset, African Spokes Series

from 175.00

Sunset falls fast in Africa, and in an array of colors. Unlike in the deserts of southern Botswana, on the Chobe River National Park the night came down on the myriad wildlife gently in pastel washes as the light blinked out thousands of dragonflies took to the sky. Our boat passed hippo families grazing in the marsh grass, water buffalo on the banks, extraordinary kingfisher and eagles, and lazy crocodiles half in and out of the water.
Located in the north east the Chobe River National Park Botswana’s third largest national park and sits on a verdant vital wetland at the intersection of Namibia, Botswana, Zambia and Zimbabwe.

The photograph comes from the African Spokes series shot in May 2018.
