  • I’m a freelance photographer and love partnering with clients on projects of all sizes. Whether you need updated headshots or a full visual narrative to support your organizational goals across web and social, we’ll scope the project to align with your vision, budget, and impact.

  • I also create short-form video content for web and social as a one-person crew. This nimble approach keeps budgets lean while still capturing meaningful, high-quality work in the field.

  • I’m a filmmaker and director drawn to stories rooted in real emotion, human connection, and the natural world. I approach each project with curiosity and empathy, crafting films that feel honest, grounded, and deeply human. Blending thoughtful strategy with a character-first lens, I create work that resonates—visually rich, purpose-driven, and made to last.

  • With a background in design and brand strategy, I’m uniquely positioned to support you/your team in laying the groundwork for strong visual storytelling—whether in photography or film. I work with your team directly, helping pull out your goals and shape the project scope so the creative feels aligned, intentional, and impactful from the start.

  • We will meet for a Kick Off call to discuss the scope of work, your organizational DNA and vision for the project. I bring unique design and branding knowledge to this meeting to help your reach your visual goals!

We can add a more in depth strategy deep dive into your organizational DNA and your visual storytelling goals, if desired.

  • The next step is where the unseen foundation for creative success occures. I will go into creative direction, shot lists, scheduling, and logistics.
We will develop a clear plan to bring your vision to life and ensure everyone is on the same page and ensure success!

  • With the KO and Pre Pro in place the Shoot (Photo/Video) has a clear foundation to create visuals that are uniquely right for your organizations story.
Your team members are welcome to be involved on the shoot day and I will be in close contact throughout the process.

  • Post processing is where I take the visuals from the raw files and process them (color correction, toning, lens correction etc) add metadata, correct sound/add captions/music etc for film, export them into the agreed upon file format process, and bring them over to your customized gallery for your review.
This step will occur in a timely fashion agreed upon the Pre Production.

  • We will have a Final Delivery unveiling where you receive the high resolution visuals which we have created in a customized gallery where you can review them, give feedback and download file optimized for web, social media, and other platforms.
We’ll discuss how to I can continue supporting your team through ongoing collaboration and partnership, making future projects seamless and effortless.

Client Reviews

“Julianne is a gentle force to be reckoned with, one of our favorite directors.

Julianne Gauron has the unique combination of journalistic integrity and preparation, design and aesthetic sensibility, and ability to create an intimate human connection with any one on this earth. From photography, design, directing, writing, her range in skill is both wide and deep.

Whether she's biking across Malawi or interviewing the president of Planned Parenthood, Julianne makes it all look easy - but we know it really takes an incredible amount of preparation and intention. This year, she dove head first into crisis communications in response Trump's repeal of Title X funding dedicated to family planning, interviewing leading doctors from around the country.

Now, she's directing our collaboration with Conservation Law Foundation that tackles the consequences of climate change in New England. Julianne is one of the most trusted and talented directors we've worked with, and we can't recommend her enough.”

“It was a pleasure working with Julianne and Snow on the Road to capture images from our operations in Mozambique and Uganda. She captured beautiful and moving imagery detailing the transformative power of agriculture.”

I have to say...  professionalism, enthusiasm, and ability to connect with the team were evident from the moment you arrived. The photos you captured tell the story of the work our Sawyers accomplished and help showcase the impact Team Rubicon has in the communities we serve.

Thank you for dedicating your time and talents to this effort. We are grateful to have had you as part of the team, and I want to extend a warm welcome to Team Rubicon. We look forward to serving alongside you on future operations.
